Hello list I am looking for the SHAW family. I would appreciate someone's help in ascertaining if George SHAW was still in UK in 1851. William SHAW, a potter, c. 1800, m. Martha BULLOCK 1827 Fulford George SHAW b. 1829 Lane End Jesse SHAW b. 1832 Lane End William SHAW b. 1834 Lane End Esther SHAW b. 1836 Lane End Henry SHAW b. April 1841 Wolstanton I have access to the 1841 census and have found father William SHAW with Maria 15, Harriet 14, (born before marriage?) George 11, Jesse 9 in Wood Street Lane End. I have no previous knowledge of Maria or Harriet but this looks like the right family. There is no sign of Martha and the other children. Thanks for any help you can give. Lorna Sydney, Australia.
