I am trying to figure out exactly where the following places are in relation to each other. Any help would be appreciated. Is there such a place as PELLSALL, STAFFORDSHIRE? (It appears on the 1851 census as a place of birth) I've also seen this on other documents written as PALLSAL. I've tried putting it in on the net and all it keeps telling me is that I must mean: Wallsal????? ARE THESE THE SAME PLACE? Also, can anyone tell me about West Bromwich? Could this Pellsall be anywhere near West Bromwich? My ancestors were from born in these two places......they were married at St. Peter's Church in Wolverhampton???? (Don't know where that is either in relation to these town).... By 1851 census, they are in West Bromwich, District of Christ Church, Greets Green? By 1860 they had joined the Mormans and sailed for Utah with some of there children being left behind in England. To make matters worse, two of the children that I know about were married in a place called Dudley in Worcester - one says St. Edmunds and the other only "the parish church" of Dudley. If anyone can give me some idea if these places are near each other it sure would be helpful. It is very difficult searching when one does not know where to look. The surnames are Walker and Russell. Thanks, Ruth
