Hi! I am new to this list and am looking for a George Birks who married Ann Turner. At the time of his marriage he was a potter. This is all I know. Are there any other people looking for this family? Jackie!
Jackie - you must know more ! Such as what year(s) are we talking about ? 1700s, 1800s or 1900s ? What, if any, census' do you have him / her in ? Where did his marriage take place and when ? When the marriage took place was Ann Turner a spinster or a widow ? So you can see you do have a lot more info. Birks and Turner are extremely common names -especially in the Fenton/Longton area .
