    1. Death Cert.
    2. Anne Geiger
    3. Wondered if anyone could help me please? I received a death certificate of relation of mine who passed away August 1886, he lived in Silverdale, on the certificate it said Diabetes 3 years. He was only 41 years of age. It does seem strange to die of diabetes, perhaps he did not know he had diabetes? did he have treatment in those days? Or perhaps he may not have been treated. Perhaps someone out there might be able to help me please. Many thanks. Anne

If you do a google search on 'Insulin history' you will probably get more information than you wanted. Esther

    3. Hi Earl, thanks so much for answereing and giving me the info.My connection is through Samuel Clay,Thomas and Prudence's grandson. His father was William .Samuels partner was Elizabeth Gibbs born in Leicester,so far I have been unable to trace their marriage, having tried BMD sites.LDS,1837 ,geneologists and every site I can think of.I presume they were married as I was told that they were very strict with their childrens morals,I know this might not be the case, its just the impression I have of them. They moved up to Lancashire in the 1850's and had their family in these parts, their daughter Elizabeth was my grandmother who died before I was born.I have got my grandfathers tree back to the early 1600's which is extensive and I thought I would follow the Clays. If you could be kind enough to let me have Prudences birth date and death I would be so pleased,I already have baptism dates of her siblings.I like to get all the extended families on to my tree as well and it would be re! ally great to have snippets of their lives included. Thanks so much for bearing with me.Cheers Jess EarlJDavis@aol.com wrote: Hi Jess.
