Hi Michelle I realised that you wanted a copy of the death announcement in the local paper, and as we get the Echo every day I was going to look out for it. You will realise that there has been no paper over Chrstmas, and the office will only have opened today (if then, I'm not sure if there's a paper today as Mon and Tues are supposedly Bank holidays in lieu of Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Even when the family get round to it, and not everybody does, it may take a couple of days more to work through the backlog. Anyway, as Tony has pointed out, you can look at the daily announcements for yourself, so here's hoping there's a lot of genealogical info in it when it comes. Hello, There was an Echo yesterday (Mon 27th), but there was no notice in it. I don't get the Echo everyday (probably will not today) but I'll also keep an eye open for the notice when I do get a copy.
