A suggestion has been made that the mystery school photo on our website at http://tinyurl.com/63s7k "Could this possible be taken around the early 1900's, when Colonel and Ethel M. Portal had something to do with a Girl's school in Southampton or Woolston.? My Mother attended some school in the area of St. Mary Extra and often talked about Colonel Melville Portal and Mrs Charlotte , and Margaret Portal, but I have never seen any pictures of them.
