Hello Again Mike I have just looked at the Commonwealth War Graves Site and was interested to see the picture they show of St Mary's Cemetery, this is the newer of the two in Wellington Road. The old ground is on the other side of the road and is much larger, as you can see in the picture of the newer Cemetery, most of the monuments are standing, burials still take place in this one but only where plots were purchased in the past. With the one you are looking for I would imagine the marker is still in place as it is a CWG plot, I will certainly have a look next time I am there.
