    3. Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I have a copy of the William MEACHAM will, courtesy of my friend Midi. It mentions my Amory MEACHAM, but the relationship is currently unclear, alas. The removal order for Amory and Susanna does, indeed, relate to my poor 5G Grandparents, and I wonder what they had done to be "removed". Poverty is the most likely answer, I'm afraid. Incidentally, Ancestry's marriage for Amory and Susannah at Curry Rivel is wrong. Ancestry seem to put Curry Rivel as the default location for just about ANY Somerset marriage for some reason. In fact, the marriage of Amory MEACHAM and Susannah STACY als PAVY took place at Whitestaunton on 6 Aug 1744. I haven't been able to work out how John MEACHAM and his wife Margaret connect to my tree (re: Margaret's removal from Bruton to Whitestaunton) but I have no doubt they do connect somewhere. Thanks again for your kind assistance - if ever I can return the favour, just ask! Best wishes, Sue Hembury-Kellow -----Original Message----- From: eng-somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:eng-somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of elizabeth howard Sent: 20 November 2013 14:41 To: eng-somerset@rootsweb.com Subject: [ENG-SOM] MEACHAM family of Whitestaunton, Somerset Hi , there are a number of Meacham wills on the National Archives site Discovery .
