Greetings List, I am researching my MELHUISH family of Uffculme. Those of you registered on the Devon List may remember my previous posts regarding the family. I recently had success in finding in the SDFHS records a marriage in Uffculme that wasn't in the DFHS records - I therefore thought it was worth now reaching out to the Somerset List in the hopes that those with a knowledge of both areas and access to both sets of records may be able to assist with furthering my research. Here's what I currently know: John MELHUISH bapt. 5/4/1804 Uffculme son of William MELHUISH & Anne. Parents are William MELHUISH & Anne COTTERELL who married 17/10/1805 Uffculme. I know details of John's family downwards (no need to include that here now) so I'm only seeking help to trace the earlier family.   Any help with obtaining info on William, whether any siblings of John, and generally tracing the family back further will be much appreciated.
