    3. If you look at FreeReg.org.uk, look at counties and parishes coverage you will see virtually all of Ilchester has been transcribed. Just use the search on FreeReg and if they are in Ilchester, you should be able to find them. 3. Hi, Ilchester on Freereg is transcribed from 1594-1635 from the Dwelly Transcripts, and 1690-1902. with a gap 1740-1749, bapts. Much the same applies to the dates of marriages.. Burials go from 1594-1666, and from 1690-1901. with a bigger gap 1740-1751. There is I suspect a gap for the Civil war from 1635 and registers don`t survive for bapts and marriages until 1690. Somerset .gov.uk/archives has a list of dates and parishes, Ilchester batps starts 1690 ends 1963, marriages 1590-1979, burials 1690-1901 . So the Freereg transcripts are Dwelly transcripts for the early period. Somerset doesn`t say if there are Bishops or Archdeacons transcripts for a period earlier than 1690 , so you may be unlucky. life is hard . soften it with a cat \\\=^..^=/// ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donna Przecha" <donnaprz@sbcglobal.net> To: <eng-somerset@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 25, 2014 1:24 AM Subject: [ENG-SOM] Ilchester > If you look at FreeReg.org.uk, look at counties and parishes coverage > you will see virtually all of Ilchester has been transcribed.
