Thank you Peter for the reminder. I am in the process of working my way through these again. I find that FindMyPast does not lend itself to this type of search, un less I am doing it the wrong way, and Ancestry turns up so much chaff that I am probably missing the grain I am seeking in amongst all of the chaff, but I will keep at it. In a monumental feat of stupid design, this link is *not* available until you select any of the search sets; BMD, Census, etc. anything /expect/ All records. Once there, select 1871 census and you can enter all sorts of search criteria; Name(s) birth place, residence, etc. You can even do address searches. -- Regards _ / ) "The blindingly obvious is / _)rad never immediately apparent" It belongs to them, let's give it back Beds Are Burning - Midnight Oil
