Hello Dave, If Eleanor was not from Mudford they may have married in her parish. I have Phillimore's Atlas & Index of Parish Registers & the person at the time of it being published who had the marriage index only had the marriage index starting at 1754. Boyds marriage index starts at 1563 for Mudford. I have a fiche for them but I no longer have a reader but I could take it somewhere next week. Ordering a film is probably the best way to go from where you are. Looking for all wills relating to the name you are researching also helps using a time frame of interest Just a thought.
