John BENDALL age 70 (Army Pensioner) Mary BENDALL age 60 Born: Hampshire England Civil Parish: Eling Hundred: Redbridge Country: England Registration District: New Forest Sub Registration District: Eling Enumeration District 7B Folio: 61 Page !6 Line 2 GSU roll 288801 I also have two pieces of information on George and Sarah's daughter Harriett Bendall. 1) On 16th October 1837 Harriett Bendall of Marshwood, daughter of George Bendall Chairmaker at Eling, married Nathaniel Palmer of the 2nd Battalion Royal Artillery, son of Nathaniel Palmer Cabinet Maker, witnesses Hary Palmer and Jane Stride. 2) (From the Bath Chronicle) Married 16th October at Eling, Southampton Na thaniel Palmer 24th Battalion Royal Artillery to Harriett Bendall of this City. My George c1784 has been given in various documents as a chairmaker, awheelchair maker and a wheelchair man. I wondered if you think it is likely that John c1771 and George c1784 are siblings or at the very least cousins. I would value your opinions as I have no-one to bounce this idea off of.
