Hi there I live in Canberra Australia and am descended from George Tilly Vagg born in South Petherton in 1816, emigrated to Victoria in 1841 and died in Geelong in 1901. There is quite a deal of information on the Vagg family as Merv Vagg, did a lot of research on the family in the 1960s - however, as they say, there is always new information to find! Hi Jennifer, Sorry I can't help with your NICHOLAS family, but the name George Tilly VAGG rang bells. I have a George TILLEY who married Francis DAVIDGE 4 Nov 1780 in Curry Rivel, Somerset. I have not followed this family forward, but I have a feeling that George Tilly VAGG would be a descendant. Do you have the ancestors of George Tilly VAGG? Does George TILLEY appear in his line?
