Hi Pat, Thanks so much for clarifying. F.R.G.S. sounds much more plausible since I was sure he was not a surgeon and I can also understand how a G. could change to a C. over time. It is also interesting to note that 2 Atlantic Terrace East and 44 South Rd are one and the same. Thanks everyone for all the help in trying to sort out relatives who disowned the family of their son because he married a non catholic and of course he also left them in Canada to return to England in 1914.
