    3. Jon, are you researching NICHOLLS in Somerset? Our NICHOLLS family, and those families they married had many links with Cornwall. We have a John NICHOLLS who married Frances WILKINSON 12 October 1779 at St Cuthberts, Wells, Somerset...and records show that all their children were baptised..and subsequently married there. Hope there maybe a link Best wishes Pamela 2008/7/10 jonnixey.fh <jonnixey.fh@btinternet.com>: > Very many thanks Christine, much appreciated! > > Best wishes, > > Jon > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > ENG-SOMERSET-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- Pamela NICHOLLS in Victoria, Australia Visit our family connections at: http://oysterfisher.tribalpages.com

    3. Hi Pam, My grt grandmother was Sarah Jane Nicholls (born 1867), the daughter of William Nicholls (born about 1843 at Wellow) and Louisa (nee Turner born abt 1843 at Hennington). I believe William was the son of John Nicholls and Sarah (nee Biggs) who married at Bath RO Jun Q 1841, but I don't have their mar cert as yet to confirm this. John was born about 1815 at Midsomer Norton, according to the 1851 census. On the Nicholls research I've done so far, which I must say is very little, I've seen no connections to Cornwall yet. If you are aware of any links, I'd be very pleased to hear from you about it. Kindest regards, Jon
