Carole, 44, South Road, Weston-s-Mare still exists and I went by the house today. It is in the centre of a large, old terrace block and looks like it has been converted into apartments. It is on the hill on the north side of the town and the road overlooks the beach and town centre. If you want a photo of the house and the surrounding area just let me know and I will get them for you when I am there again in a couple of weeks time. He was an artist and upon receiving the death certificate shows him as an artist. Our family actually has a painting of his. A 2nd question now is - I notice their address in 1916 was 44 South Rd, Weston Super Mare (is this house still standing) and this is the same address that my grandfather Wilfrid Bradley Watcyn used during the war in 1916. Note the spelling of his name he used when coming to Canada and returning to England to join the RASC as an ambulance driver. I am wondering if there is anything about his death in Weston Super Mare. Many thanks again . Carole Marshall and hope to visit the cemetary and a couple of houses when I come over in April. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-SOMERSET-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
