Regarding the message from Raymond Mitchell about the Generations program running on Vista. I interpreted from that message that the latest version of Generations 8.5a was needed to be able to use it with Vista. I am running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and I am using Generations version 6 which copied and transferred all my data with no problems. I just though I would add my experience with Vista and generations. Through Sierra I was put on to tony@twrcomputing.co.uk Their advice was " For Vista you will need v8.5A and yes, we have the latest Generations v8.5a in stock. Version 8.5a is Windows XP compatible and works on Vista too. The price is ?19.95. Your existing family files are 100% compatible with v8.5a. We provide full instructions, and help if you need it." This seems to point the way forward.
