Lists of microfilms for each parish can be seen by searching the Library Catalogue at: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp As mentioned, some parish registers have been transcribed online eg. Martock, but not alway for all time periods. Increasing numbers of register entries are available through http://www.freereg.org.uk/ Registers are also available at http://www.somerset.gov.uk/archives/ but you would probably need to pay a researcher to look at these. For "Stowey" there are parishes named Overstowey and Netherstowey. I have done all my researching from here in Australia through the LDS Family History Centre microfilms and would personally recommend it if you are able: nothing quite beats seeing the actual register yourself.
