Greetings! I should love to be able to find the baptism of Mary Ann WILLIAMS whose birth place according to census 1851 to 1901 is given as Somerset, Bath or in the case of 1871 Somerset, Combe Down. From census ages I estimate her birth about 1823. She married John BARNETT in Cheltenham 12 July 1846 (ages of both bride and groom are recorded only 'of full age' ), died on 14 Jan 1905 age 81 and is buried in Cheltenham Cemetery On the marriage cert her father is given as John WILLIAMS, quarryman, and his occupation seems consistent with the Combe Down locality. I know there is a church at Combe Down but was this built later than abt 1823 because I cannot find Combe Down listed in the Hugh Wallis Somerset pages for IGI. Can anyone point me in the right direction for possible baptism of Mary Ann and more about her father John Williams which might lead to marriage and name of spouse.
