Can anyone makes some suggestions on where to look:- I have Robert Davis and family (shown as Dawes) b1796 1841 England Census and I am guessing his sister b1796 both showing as born Minehead, Somerset. Since the other adult Jane is Robert's wife. I am wondering if this dead end might arise if they were Quakers? What do the more experienced people think. Are there Quaker records somewhere? I have strong reasons to think that there might be a connection to the Dr Richard Brocklesby and Dr Ian Young family - is anyone researching these families or family? or have they been researched in the past in detail. I have checked all baptisms on http://wsomparreg.mysite.orange.co.uk by Martin Southwood and http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/SOM/Minehead/BapMin_1794.html without success.
