There is an Eli Chapman in the 1841 census who I think might be her brother since she had a son Eli Seymour. John & Martha Seymour subsequently lived at Barton St Davids and then at Street. Any connections would be of interest. Probably no relation, Bob, but coincidentally I also have a Martha Chapman - from rather far away in time & space, though. Mine was born in Mark, 1852, daughter of Robert and Martha (nee Card?) and married Joseph James Sage in 1885. In the unlikely event there is a connection, I'd be pleased to hear.
