Hello All I am new to this list. My name is Jan, and I am a NZer, but live in Daintree, Far North Queensland, Australia. My relatives seem to have been spread all over the UK, the latest I have unearthed coming from Whitchurch, Somerset before emigrating to New Zealand. I have bee 'messing' with family history for about 25 years - with breaks of various lengths when I get too busy or frustrated. Of my immediate family, only my dad was born in NZ, everyone else was born somewhere else, England, Scotland and Nova Scotia. Hello Jan, I live in Somerset in England and have a cousin living in Australia who is researching his family history. One of the names he is researching is " MOON " in Somerset. Sorry, No, My Moon name is my husband's and his Moon family are from Canton, China. But you should try the NSW list, a lot of English Moon's (and Irish) came here as both convicts and settlers.
