To Marion and Robert Thank you sooo much and so quick too. I've been chasing Thomas Symes for ages. I originall went down the wromg track. His daughter Eliza married Edwin Mundy in 1852. On their marriage cert it says "master something" and I cannot decifer. My system has been playing up a bit(or I'm doing something wrong- probably) and I cant find him in 1861 on 1851 he's not listed with the rest of family. Oh well will keep trying to find him 1861.
