Hello list, The other day I read this on another family history list. ___________________________________________________________ You can access newspapers back to 17th century on a free trial at Gale - British Library - I have found hundreds of references to my families - great with BDM notices too: http://access.gale.com/gdctrial/ in "Institution" type international _____________________________________________________________ It worked for me with no problems, and the friendly email that I received from the Gale Digital Collection Trial Site included this: "The access period is limited, so don't delay in exploring the products and sharing it with your colleagues" So that's what I'm doing now, colleagues. Hi Sue, I clicked on the Gale link immediately but all I got was a registration form that asked for my name, e-mail, title, institution, etc. I'm researching for myself, no institution.
