    3. Helen, I just used my personal name & email address and other details (Ms for title, my own phone no, where I live for city etc), then under both Institution name and Institution address I typed international and I chose international from the drop-down menu, which otherwise consisted of states in the US. Charani says in a reply to my posting that Institution should be either "none" or "other" and location is "International" unless you are based in the USA, so that's another variation that presumably works. But what I did worked for me, and its lasted two days and several log-ins so far (they email you a log-in name and password). 3. I have been able to have free access to this site since 24 March when I picked the information up on another list. (Sorry I should have passed the info on to you as I did to some other lists). Because of the initial rush on the original scheme they produced simpler system and a form to fill in which I duly did. They have then granted me a full months free usage because I filled in the form honestly. I now have at least 2 reams of obituaries, articles, new facts about horrendous family accidents and unfortunate circumstances which I would never have found. It will keep me busy for years - So much so that I keep forgetting to tell people what a wonderful source of information this is. They even shipped to me a full pack of data to me in France to read and consider. Not had time yet! Best of all I found out that the source is located at Walworth Industrial Estate Andover where a great many of my family are from and a town in which I still have business interests. Must close - back to searching for more family facts! The initial free trial was specifically for one American university only. It wasn't meant for anyone outside the university. Access was closed once it was realised what had happened. However, Gale were obviously well aware of the scale of interest, hence the subsequent free time limited trial. > They have then granted me a full months free usage because I filled in the > form honestly.
