Hi all :-) My main surnames in Somerset are : BALE family : in and about Wellington. Have a James, (Mar Ann's father) but have no real idea where  or when he was born. Have Mary Ann's birth of Microfilm from the LDS. Though there are links with Culmstock (her mother, GILLARD, Mary, was born there) in Devon, which is just over the County border. WEBBER, George 7 Mar 1815/1811 : in and about Bridgwater. Birthday written in his daughter's "Rememberance Book" I put in and about VERY seriously with this surname as I've read through MANY microfilms at the LDS look for a birth which DID happen, but can not be found.............. (I am living proof of this birth! ;-)  ) BALE, Mary Ann ( 20 Jan 1832 Wellington, Som. - 8 Sept 1910 Victoria, Australia.) married (7 Nov 1850 in Australia) WEBBER,, George (7 Mar 1815 OR 1811 Bridgwater, Som. - 7 Apr 1871 Victoria, Australia.) If you have a 'lost' a George WEBBER and think he might be one of yours, please feel very free to contact me.... It appears he left for Australia early in the 1840's. He was reputed to be a Ship's Captain, but when he died he was a Shoemaker, due to health reasons. ANY ideas???
