Hi Folks I have traced the BATSON line back to Ashcott and Kilmersdon with some certainty but have now drawn a blank on getting further back, the details I have are:- John BATSON born 1784 Ashcott, son of Ambrous and Rebecca AMES, no further details on either except their marriage in 1776 at Ashcott. John Married Mary STICKLEN in 1813 at Ss Peter and Paul Kilmersdon Somerset I cannot find any other details on Mary. If any has any connections with these lines I would be pleased to hear. I have found some of my STICKLAND relations entered as STICKLEN or STRICKLAND so you might look for those names for Mary.
