I've done some more work this past Easter but am still a long way off confirming a lot about my OSMOND line in Tintinhull area of Somerset. I'm fairly sure a lot of the children listed here could actually be cousins, in fact I know that Sarah Osmond that ended up in New Zealand was NOT actually a member of this family, but she did travel with George Osmond to Australia, and was living with the family. 1. He married (2) ANN TRENCHARD on 30 May 1850, daughter of William Trenchard and Susana Unknown. She was born about 1801 in Hinton St George, Somerset, England. John Osmond and Martha Brown had the following children: i. CHARLES OSMOND was born on 09 Feb 1814 in Tintinhull, Somerset, England. He died on 27 Mar 1915 in Wallarobba, NSW, Australia (Sevility (several years), Acute Bronchitis (3 days)). He married ANN NEWSON in 1838 in Jersey Island, UK, daughter of Isaac Isaire Newson and Elizabeth Unknown. She was born in 1812 in Stockland, Devon, England. MARY ANN OSMOND was born about 1821 in Tintinhull, Somerset, England. v. JAMES OSMOND was born in 1822 in Tintinhull, Somerset, England. He died on 31 Aug 1860 in Paterson, NSW, Australia (Head Injury in Riding Accident). He married ELIZABETH TUCKER in Jun 1853 in Tintinhull, Somerset, England.
