Hi, I can't really answer your question with any sure knowledge - sorry! My own family connection is from the marriage of Joan BAILEY and Richard PORTER 27 Feb 1794 in Spaxton, Somerset. Joan came from Enmore Somerset (baptised there 27 Feb 1771), daughter of Moses and Hannah. That is where my research ends so far unfortunately. There is evidence of BDM for Bailey families in Enmore dating back to the 1690s and also in nearby Aisholt (dates back to a similar period), but as yet Moses has proved extremely elusive! (Other than his marriage to Hannah Gulliver in Aisholt in 1769 I haven't been able to trace him. hence my request to the list. Steve
