Hi List, reseaching the family of Susan Elizabeth Compton Gillett ( various spellings) born 1842 Langport. I think her father was most likely George Gillett and her mother Charlotte Compton but not entirely confident beyond that. Susan married Samuel Hickling 1841 to 1878 from Nottingham, and moved there to live after her marriage. Linda in Long Eaton Derbyshire.
