Hello List, I am new to the list and wonder if anyone can help. I have been researching Richard Wright GOODALL for some 11 years and have the following information. He married Elisheba BAZLEY on the 20th Sept 1827 then again on the 10th October 1827 in Okehampton, Devon. He was a sojoiner. They had a daugher Frances who is baptised on 6th August 1832 in Birmingham plus a daugher Mary and an un-named son. The family travel to New South Wales about 1840 ish, Richard is before the NSW courts for insolvency in March 1842 and again February 1857. Richard died in Maitland, NSW on 2nd February 1870, aged 62. His profession is a licensed surveyor. Also on his death certificate are the facts that he was born in Bath and that his father .....GOODALL was a banker. Given his age of 62 is 1879 he would have been born circa 1808 ish! Does anyone have access to any directories to see if GOODALL senior is resident in Bath in 1808 and is anyone else researching the family? Lesley Abraham. Isle of Wight.
