I have now hit the a final brick wall in my search to identify where a Bridgwater street was before major redevelopment took place in the 1960's I do have a current street plan of Bridgwater and West Street stills exists BUT there used to be a lane leading from it and this is the one I would really like to find. It may have run from West Street down past a pub from West Street , and whether this pub still exists is a question mark. The missing street I am trying to trace was Halswell Lane. I know that the bridgwater library may be able to help but at a cost and as I am living in Australia and a pensioner it is a little difficult I am putting the finishing touches to my mothers family history and it would be good to be able to complete the final missing piece Any help would be gratefully received Michael McDonnell Adelaide Australia
