At Puddy Fair, Job QUARMAN , of Farmborough, having a horse for sale, was asked the price by one of the black-leg Jockies; Job said eleven guineas; the jockey at once gave him half a guinea in part of pay, and then desired he might ride the horse a little on trial. Poor Job has neither heard nor seen horse or man since.
