I don't have handy the inscription. It is in Latin but the translation I have seen is a poetic way of saying the Wm and Catherine each died on their 80th birthday. William's Will calls him William Bassett of Beaupre (which is in Glamorganshire). I suspect the Bassetts of Bath were connected with the Claverton BASSETTs.
