Heather, Thanks for the info, I was able to find very similar data in a searchable database myself, but nothing that really ties any of the families together at all. I think I need to find a wider search in the local vicinity for the apparent family (John, Henry and Charles), as they may not have all been born in Tintinhull. Is there any free census records that are meaningful before 1841 or is that the earliest "proper" census? Would be very interested to see all Osmonds in Tintinhull, Yeovil extended areas for 1841, but this is a massive undertaking. The more I dig the more I realise I may have to pay for Ancestry or other website. Thanks again, Steve. Hi Steve, Prior to the 1841 census, have you tried looking at trade directories? There are some available free on this site: http://www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/ Yvonne Scrivener Canberra ACT Australia -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Is there any free census records that are meaningful before 1841 or is that the earliest "proper" census?
