    1. Re: [ENG-SOM] ACLAND, WEST, BOUCHER, ----------DYER?
    2. Hello, I participate with a study of an uncommon Y-Haplogroup on FamilyTreeDNA. There is a theory that the several members of that "Superfamily a" may have a very early common ancestor in Somerset area. DYER is one those surnames; mine is another. I have a couple of relative recent listings for CRAGO. I do have known early roots , 17th century, in Cornwall, and possiblly Wales. My Y-Haplogroup is R1b1b2a1a1a. The short notation is: R-U198. I am thinking that my Haplogroup is actually Celtic/Gaelic in origin. Some variations of my surname are the these:CRUGYOW, CRAGO, CRAGOE, CRAIGO, CREGOW, CREGO, CREGOE, and maybe in some way this Celtic name from Ireland: Craggauowen Celtic Living History Museum, near Craggauowen Castle, Ireland.
