Hello again folks Thanks to an off list reply I managed to solve lat weeks mystery on the Luxton side so am trying again on the BATSON line. I have John BATSON born 1784 and baptised in Ashcott, in 1841 he is listed as a Publican with Sarah 43, William 22 Gunsmith, Charles 14 (My 2x Gr grandfather) and Alfred 12 all born in County. I have found Baptisms for Charles and Alfred at St Mary's Taunton but with the mother listed as Mary, from this I suspect that John had married Sarah after the death of Mary, but have yet to find the death or Marriage of Mary. Any help or suggestions welcome. Regards Patrick Williams
