    3. Hi Jenny, many thanks for info however, I can not lay claim as of yet to this Elizabeth Jane. You are correct I believe, in that my VICKERY'S are of Seavington stock. My main line of interest is my CHICK family, however again would love to proof that the Eliza(beth) Vickery who married John Chick on 02-Sept 1827 at Seavington St Michael Somerset Eng Parents were Jacob Vickery and Sarah Vickery (Clarke). Again many thanks and hope to talk again in the future. Fergus is a cousin of mine. Is Elizabeth Jane 'one of yours'? Other than any on the Roy Parkhouse site http://www.parkhouse.org.uk/transcr/tcontent.htm and transcribed by Tanya Melhuish (ie 1538-1837) I know of no other Chick marriages at BSM. At Tatworth however, much closer to Seavington which I believe is the seat of your Vickerys, I know of another 8 CHICK marriages, all between 1870 & 1930. And a dozen or more at Chard St Mary's. 3. Hi Christine I live in Weston-super-Mare so was interested in your request. Many people about that time were moving into Weston so I looked elsewhere for Frances. There is a baptism of a Frances WILLCOX d/o Michael & Elizabeth 10th Nov 1819 in St Stephen's Church in Bristol. Michael WILLCOX is described as a Merchant living in Queen Square, Bristol This is a little earlier than you thought but seems worth following up. This baptism is included on the CD of Baptisms in the Bristol Diocese1813-1837 produced by the Bristol & Avon FHS - see www.bafhs.org.uk for details of how to obtain it. It does contain information about other children.
