    3. Hello Helen, I tried sending this message twice but it bounced each time. Hugh Hudson is the grandson of Percy Beak. He has all his papers and is coordinating the Beak Family data. I can provide Hugh's email address but as a courtesy I do not put personal email addresses on Lists. If you want to contact Barbara please do. I can provide her email address should you wish it. As far as I know she has the same information I and other Beak family members have. But I reiterate, it is Hugh who has the Middlezoy data collected by Percy Beak. They'll be in the Somerset Local Studies Library but you need to have an address as the ERs are arranged alphabetically by address within wards within a town. They aren't arranged alphabetically by elector's name. A century earlier and, yes, they were by name. They will only list the eligible elector, not the whole family unless they were all eligible to vote. Liz Newbery is the OPC for Street but she's offline for the moment. What I'd suggest for now is to have a look at the 1901 census for Street and Stogursey to see if any of the names you're interested in are mentioned there and look at the occupations, then use the GRO indices to see if you can follow any of them down, whilst at the same time tracking back from the person of interest. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk

    3. Hi Charani, Thanks for replying to my message. I am actually looking for the names of employees of the shoe company and hoped that some of them may be listed in the book. This search for a friend of mine with family name connections of Mears,Collard,Leak thought to be centered around Street and Stogursey. Do you know where we should contact for info on the Electoral Rolls for the general area @1932 ?
