    3. Hi Lynn, The only CLAPP record that I have at this time is from the Kilmersdon Register that I am transcribing and will shortly appear in the extension of the Radstock and Kilmersdon Parish's own website.: Kilmersdon Marriages Register 1837-1906 Page 189, Entry 377 8th August 1895: Marriage by Banns of Ivor CLAPP, Aged 27, a Bachelor and a Miner from Porth. His father was Hubert Clapp (Deceased) also a Miner & Elizabeth PADFIELD, Aged 27, a Spinster from Kilmersdon. Her father was James Padfield, a Miner. Witnesses were George(?) Padfield & Ann Padfield. Banns were published at Kilmersdon on the 7th, 14th and 21st July 1895. A slip of paper was found in the Kilmersdon Banns Register to the effect that Banns were read at the church in Llantrisant Porth, Glanmorganshire. No dates were given. Dennis White Cwmbran, S. A genealogy group just started where I now live and the genealogy bug has bitten me again. I would like to find out as much about the Clapp family as possible. My documented information goes back to Charles Clapp who was born in 1805 in Chapel Allerton and died 29 January 1885 in Berrow Somerset. Charles married Mary Ann Coles. I have no documentation on Mary Ann or a record of their marriage but from the Census I estimate that she was born around 1807. She died in Berrow on 25 Nov 1877.
