Hi all Does anyone know where I could find or has access to St Brigids C/E burial records in Brean/e. I have accessed the LDS film which only goes to 1900. I am researching the HALLIFAX family and found Rev Joseph HALLIFAX and his wife Clara died and were buried there 1882/1884 resp. However I have recently been told some of the children were also buried there in the 1900s. Would appreciate any help. Thanks and Regards Liz Vincent 02 4677 2044 / 0419 003 806 P.O. The Weston-super-Mare FHS has transcribed the memorials of Brean - see www.wsmfhs.org.uk and there is the following memorial. Nothing on that memorial after 1900 though. In memory of JOSEPH HALLIFAX for 23 Rector of this parish who died Nov 8 1882 aged 54 years. Also his sons JOSEPH and OCTAVIOUS who died Dec 30th 1875 and Oct 3rd 1882 aged respectively 19 and 20 years. In hope of eternal life also CLARA ISABELLA wife of the above Rev JOSEPH HALLIFAX who died July 13 1884 aged 57 years Best wishes Pat Liz Vincent wrote: > Hi all > > Does anyone know where I could find or has access to St Brigids C/E burial > records in Brean/e. In Q3 of 1882, in Taunton district, she married John Cannicott BAKER and they had 12 children; John had been born in Ilminster and was a farmer in Somerset; the 1891 census shows John as a farmer in Donyatt; at the 1901 census, he was farming Crock Street Farm in Ilminster, Somerset. John and Anna had issue. 2] Richard John JAMES, born in Q4 of 1866 in Knowle St. Giles; Richard, aged 4 , died in Knowle St. Giles and was buried there on July 6, 1871.
