I have Taylor connection in my tree. Elizabeth TAYLOR married Thomas BUTTER 1748 Cheswardine. I have not checked the TAYLORs further back or forward. I have another TAYLOR connection from Etruria, Staffordshire. You don't say where in Shropshire you are looking, some parts of Shrops border with Staffordshire and I found some of my family in Staffs rather than Shrops. Worth a try?
