Hi List, Reposting my Shropshire interests:- PENSON/ JENKS/ BRIERWOOD,BROTHERWOOD,SHELLEY, FENN, DAVIES. PENSON (Mainly William Penson born approx. 1831 in Lilleshall, Shropshire (cannot find a death for him, but his widow remarried 1868 in Salford, Lancs.) His parents were James PENSON (b. 1799 in Trentham, Staffordshire) & Ann JENKS (b. 1798, Lilleshall, Shropshire) Ann's parents were Thomas JENKS 23rd Oct. 1757 - 30th Nov 1828 Lilleshall, Shropshire & Charlotte BRIERWOOD (she married with this name in 1785) but was born Charlotte BROTHERWOOD OR SHELLEY. Bapt. 12 Sept. 1762 & buried 16 March 1824, Lilleshall, Shropshire. Charlotte's father was John BROTHERWOOD alias SHELLEY (I have a bastardry order for him for another child, not with the mother of Charlotte). Her mother was Sarah??? Charlotte seems to have siblings Thomas, Sarah, Joseph (present at her marriage as BRIERWOOD in 1785), and Mary. Thomas Jenks father was William JENKS who married Sarah FENN 1754. Sarah's parents seem to be Edward FENN & Elizabeth DAVIES. Hope someone will have a connection to the above and I will be able to fill them in with what I know and maybe someone will also know of some things I have not been able to find out??
