Hi Ian, Thanks for your reply - I followed the same sort of trail yesterday, and I couldn't find Park Issa in either Whittington or Salop Road either. I think I will contact the vets - worth a try, anyway. If you don't ask you don't get! Catherine's parents were William Rowland(s) and Catherine, so I think Robert must have followed the patronymic path. That had us puzzled for ages - as well as that, when Jane (fellow researcher) was looking for Catherine's Will the most likely one was for a MRS Catherine Williams. We eventually decided it was worth a look anyway and sure enough it was for our spinster Catherine. She's not referred to as Mrs anywhere in the Will so I'm not sure why she was indexed that way. It's definitely the right person - apart from the same death date she refers to her nieces and nephew with their parents' names. Which is why old Edward Davies and Charles Wilding are so interesting - there's no mention of a relationship or reason for the bequests. I forgot to mention that I would guess that Park Issa in Whittington is actually the "Park Farm" on the censuses??? However none of the names you are looking for appear there. Ian
