Ann Ankers was unmarried when she had a daughter Mary Ankers who married my Thomas Edwards in 1832 in Stoke upon Tern. Good hunting!! Right now, I'm just in the collecting stage. I'll post my findings on the Lewter list for all to share. By the way, next summer I am going to England and hope to take a day to visit Shropshire and Shrewsbury. I'm trying to nail down possible graves, etc before I go. Won't have time to do research but I will get pictures of anything that pertains to Luters in that area.
