Since this has suggestions that they were fussing over an inheritance, this death notice from The Times of Sat 26 August 1820 seemed too good to pass up: On Tuesday last, at Wandsworth-common, Horatio Goodbehere, Esq., aged 24, son and heir of the late Samuel Goodbehere, Esq., Alderman of London. A big fat red herring or the key to all the fuss??? Sadly, in Jan 1822 there was an inquest into the death of Ann Goodbehere, wife of G Goodbehere Esq of Hackney. If you dont have access to The Times I could send it to you off list.
