Any other suggestions as to find further information ? > Hi Catherine, According to the British Library's Newspaper Archive site the newspaper has appeared under several names: Oswestry Advertizer: from Jan. 1849 to 26 Dec. 1888 Oswestry and Border: Counties Advertizer and Montgomeryshire Mercury from Jan. 1889 to 27 June 1956 Border Counties Advertizer: from 4 July 1956 to 26 Oct. 1983 Oswestry and Border Counties Advertizer: from 2 Nov. 1983 to date There were a couple of local papers in Wrexham around that time but their publication seems to have been spasmodic! Perhaps the Chester Chronicle might have included the information? Ian
