    3. Hi Catherine, Have you got a death certificate stating the cause of death as suicide? And does it have a date of an inquest held? If so, inquest reports are usually reported in the local newspaper within a few days of when the inquest took place, and you would be able to get a copy of the report. I had a death certificate where the man was found floating in the river, and there was an inquest held, when his sister gave evidence of identification and when she last saw him. It gave a very good description of him and his clothing etc. And the background of his life some weeks beforehand. They can make very interesting reading, and well worth the effort of getting a copy whenever there is an inquest.
