I have thought this to be the case for some time, but have felt a little in the dark about the Worcester connection. Fair enough thoughts about the folk moving around freely. This was my main stumbling block as I feel all the other dates etc. match up. I feel that sometimes on the convict records, the "scribes" would not only spell the names incorrectly but perhaps also they entered an incorrect age (not their fault but perhaps the convict failed to give his correct age in the first place - most likely to avoid being transported). I am still digging. Many thanks for your suggestions Jo.
